This is so much more than a job-it's a dream come true, snuggling babies, capturing treasures, meeting incredible new friends (some might call them clients, but let's face it we end up becoming so much more!), being able to see my kids & take them to see the world, live life for the moments one *camera click* at a time.
Barrie Jane Photography is based out of her cozy studio in Lacombe Alberta. She provides the complete package, the whole experience; not only does she provide the highest quality of prints from our professional lab in Alberta but your session will be relaxed and stress free as Barrie Jane will guide you along the process and provide you with all the preparation details before your session. Which includes a style guide, client agreement and answer all your questions. You are welcome to borrow one of our maternity dresses if you would like. We can arrange an evening or weekday dress fitting at the Lacombe studio if you would like to see our collection. Please contact us a week or so before your session to arrange a fitting.
Barrie Jane's style can be described as soft and airy with earth tones creating photos that are pure and simple and timeless works of art that you will cherish for years to come, and look back 25 years from now and remember in full all the little details from your day.
A vintage look with a unique touch, Barrie Jane loves earth tones and a soft creamy natural finish, she keeps photos pure and simple so they never go out of style for the years to come.
With having over 10 years’ experience full time, and doing photos since 1995 (just to age myself) and 4 kids of her own she understands that sometimes it takes time for children to warm up to the idea of photos, and that goes for husbands too. We have a treasure box at the studio for the kids after their session.
Most importantly Barrie Jane will make sure your experience is a great one as she truly puts all of her heart and soul into her work.

Hooray! The Barrie Jane Photography Studio is finished and I could not be more thrilled! I have been eager to have an alternative indoor location for my clients for such a long time and I can’t believe I actually have it!
